After becoming a mother, Sara Braga Simões returns to the stage of Teatro Nacional de São Carlos, the Lisbon Opera House, as Pamina in the Eike Ecker's production of Mozart's Die Zauberflöte.

Sara Braga Simões is a winner of several national and international prizes.
International Reviews praise her impressive range (Opera Now) and her outstanding performance (Opera Magazine).
Sara’s operatic roles include Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel), The Governess (The Turn of the Screw), Elle (La voix Humaine), Despina (Così fan Tutte,), among many others.International Reviews praise her impressive range (Opera Now) and her outstanding performance (Opera Magazine).
Her concert performances include works from Pergolesi, Vivaldi, Ravel, Dvořák, Berio, George Crumb, George Benjamin, Peter Maxwell Davies and also Brahms’s Ein Deutsches Requiem, Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn, Berlioz’s Les Nuits d’étè.
She sang in the world premiere of many works of composers as João Pedro Oliveira, Nuno Côrte-Real, Luís Tinoco and Aubert Lemeland.
She made her London debut with London Sinfonietta in the world premiere of Pedro Amaral’s Opera O Sonho [The Dream].
Sara sung with conductors such as Lawrence Renes, Martin André, Stefan Asbury, Peter Rundell, Johannes Willig, Laurence Cummings, Marc Tardue, Pierre-Andre Valade, among others.
Currently, she works with Susan McCulloch, in the UK.
